Construction between buildings

Once again Plantorama has commissioned us to build a sustainable garden centre and restaurant, this time in Amager, Denmark. We started with the construction of a restaurant between three existing buildings. After the demolition of the existing garden centre, we will build a well-insulated sustainable garden centre of 5,000 m2. Unlike the garden centres we have built in Tilst and Horsholm, this one has a laminated wooden construction.

Advantages Restaurant for Garden centre

A restaurant in a garden centre can offer several advantages, including encouraging customers to stay longer, increasing turnover, providing a more positive customer experience through relaxation and offering the opportunity to use and sell seasonal products. This creates an attractive destination that draws customers in and encourages them to spend more and stay longer.

Extension or rooftop greenhouse

Does your garden centre not have a restaurant yet? There are many ways to easily achieve this without having to close. Use the empty space for a catering area. This is already happening at Amager, where it has been set up between existing buildings. You can also expand a building with an extension. We can even build rooftop greenhouses if there is not enough space, like we recently did for the restaurant on the roof of an old factory. Possibilities are enormous.
