3,216 m2 Botanical glasshouse (SE)

Gotheborg AI botanical greenhouse design

For the famous Botanical Garden in Gothenburg we will build a new botanical greenhouse and associated greenhouses with a total area of 3,126 m2. The wide span construction will have 15 different climate zones and different heights up to a maximum of 17,5 metres.

Track record of successfully completing Botanical glasshouses

Due to the complexity of the project, we were chosen because of its track record of successfully completing ambitious projects in the past. Examples include the botanical greenhouses for the Flora Botanical Garden in Cologne, the Bayan Botanical Garden in Kuwait and 'The Glasshouse' for the RHS Garden Wisley (UK).

Knowledge Based Builder

An architect may have a wonderful idea, but in some cases it can be very difficult to actually realise it. The different heights and intersecting angles present a challenge that only a Knowledge Based Builder can handle. With an impressive height of 17.5 metres, this tall botanical greenhouse in Gothenburg will soon be clearly visible.

Working at this height requires:

🔸 Reinforced steel construction
🔸 Strict safety protocols
🔸 Aerial work platforms and skilled teams

Care and craftsmanship

The structure will consist of more than 156,000 kg of steel and more than 5,200 m² of glass, all installed with care and craftsmanship. Respect for our team working at these heights – not an easy job at ± 20 m!
