Stylish new garden centre for Plantorama in Tilst

This year Smiemans is realizing a new garden centre of almost 12,000 m2 for the well-known chain Plantorama in Denmark.
With an escalator, customers can visit the mezzanine floor where a modern restaurant will be realized. In addition to the usual flower and plant department, there is a farm shop, an animal department and ‘Playland’, a playground for the smallest visitors.
The combination of the flat and asymmetrical roof gives the garden centre a special appearance and also provides the ideal place for the ± 1.000 m2 PV panels.
By building the garden centre of the future and the focus on green and experience, Plantorama already has 11 establishments and wants to expand in the future.
